Center for International Education
The Center provides Japanese language and culture education for international
students. It is also active in planning and providing support for study abroad counseling and study abroad programs for Japanese students and trains those who want to teach Japanese as a foreign language.
1．International Student Support
A full Japanese language education program is provided, not just for academic purposes, but also to promote communication and exchange. In addition to individual tutors for students who first come, Japanese student volunteers assist in the language classes, helping the international students improve their Japanese while giving both sides a chance to meet and make friends.
Financial support is offered in the form of scholarships, and inexpensive housing in university dormitories is also available to many.
Ehime University has been working especially hard to build a network of contacts with global industries located on Shikoku for future employment opportunities. We keep in touch with graduates through the Ehime University Alumni Association, which has chapters in countries such as China, Indonesia and Vietnam.
