SUIJI stands for the “Six University Initiative Japan Indonesia)” consortium which consist Ehime University, Kagawa University, Kochi University of Japan and Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) and Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) of Indonesia.
Aim of this service learning program is to train international “servant leaders” who, by supporting primary industry at the regional level, will contribute to sustainability for future society. Students in the undergraduate course of the Japan/Indonesia 6-university consortium (SUIJI) will live 1 week to 3 months in a local community and participate in themed service learning. Joint degree and double degree programs are offered to graduate students in the field of agriculture.
